Our Seasons

We were 2nd overall at the Greater Pittsburgh Regional, where we were also regional finalists as captain of Alliance 2, which qualified us for the World Championship. We also won the Autonomous Award at the Greater Pittsburgh Regional and Innovation in Control Award at the Hudson Valley Regional and ranked 4th overall at the New York Tech Valley Regional. At the World Championship, we competed in the Milstein Division where we made it to the playoffs for the first time in team history.
We combined the upperclassmen and underclassmen as Team 4122. We ranked 1st overall and won the Regional Engineering Inspiration Award at the New York City Regional, which qualified us for the World Championship, where we competed in the Galileo Division. We also won the Quality Award at the Husdon Valley Regional and the Team Sustainability Award at the New York Tech Valley Regional.
We re-launched Team 7004, splitting the upperclassmen and underclassmen between Teams 4122 and 7004. Team 4122, the upperclassmen team were regional finalists at the New York Tech Valley Regional, which qualified them for the World Championship through a wildcard, and semi-finalists at the FIRST Long Island Regional #1. 4122 also won the Autonomous Award and Team Sustainability Award and had a Dean's List Finalist: Nicolle Palacios. At the World Championship, Team 4122 competed in the Milstein Division. Team 7004, the underclassmen team also had a blast, ranking 25th overall at the FIRST Long Island Regional #1 and 46th overall at the New York Tech Valley Regional.
We recombined the upperclassmen and underclassmen into Team 4122, making it to the quarterfinals at the New York Tech Valley Regional and ranking 6th overall at the New York City Regional where we also won the Autonomous Award and competed as the 1st pick of the 4th alliance.
Even at home during the COVID-19 pandemic, we continued to do online training at home to prepare our team for the next year.
This year we had a blast building our robot. Unfortunately our season was cut short due to COVID-19; however, we were able to learn so many new skills and expand our knowledge.
Team 4122 and 7004 were divided into upperclassmen and underclassmen; to allow the underclassmen to gain hands-on experience. Team 4122, our upperclassmen team, was the 6th alliance captain and were quarter finalists at HVR. They were also 2nd alliance captains and were Finalists at NYC Regional. Team 4122, won the Industrial Design Award and qualified for the World Championship. Team 7004, ranked 7th overall and were quarter finalists at the NYC Regional.
We started Team 7004 to allow more students to be involved. Team 4122, won the Chairman’s Award at the Central New York Regional. Team 4122 also was the 4th alliance captain and were semi-finalists at the HVR . Team 7004, was 5th alliance captain and were quarterfinalists at HVR. Our Dean’s List Finalist was Florencia De Armas.
We won Regional Engineering Inspiration and were the Regional Finalists at HVR. We also were the 6th alliance captain and semi-finalists at SBPLI Regional in Long Island. We had another Dean’s List Finalist: Olivia Lenaghan.
We won the Judges Award and were in the Newtown Division at World Championship. We were also the winners of the Hudson Valley Rally in Yonkers. We had three Dean’s List Finalists Celine Khoo, Elliot Ocheltree, and Brian Dockery.
We were quarter-finalists at the NYC Regional and Semi-finalists at the Long Island Regional.
We were semi-finalists at the NYC Regional and we had our first Dean’s List Finalist: Mitchell Radhuber. We played a crucial role in the launch of the Hudson Valley Regional (HVR) which started in 2014.
We were finalists at NYC Regional, we won the Engineering Inspiration Award, and were in the Curie Division at World Championships.
Team 4122, the Ossining Obots, formed in 2012. This team was founded by teachers Doug Albrecht and Mark Scinta, and mentor Ken Ocheltree at the request of students from the district. During our rookie season we won Rookie All Star, Rookie High Seed, Rookie Inspiration, and were in the Newton Division at World Championships.
